WIVV is the first fulltime Christian radio station in the Caribbean.  Of course, that makes it the first-ever station of The Rock Radio Network.

The missionary couple Don and Ruth Luttrell founded WIVV on the grace of God and a vision to “teach faithful ones to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)  That was in 1956.  They built WIVV to cover the US and British Virgin Islands, and all the way to the Leewards.  Since the main ministry moved to the WBMJ facilities in San Juan, WIVV has been steadily growing into a new phase of the ministry.  Today, the flagship station of The Rock is aggressively changing to meet the future.  With a brand-new studio building, a new transmitter, and plans for a new tower, WIVV is poised to

take advantage of a possible new trend in Vieques: the transformation of the untouched island into a tourist mecca.  Only God knows what will happen, but we are confident that He has huge plans for WIVV.  To help us meet the new challenges,click here! This station has a family of loyal listeners and friends across the Caribbean, built up over more than 60 years of faithful broadcasting.  WIVV transmits with a daytime power of 5,000 watts and has a potential reach of 700,000 listeners.
