“It is such an honor for me to be the pastor at Palmas Community Church, because these people have been so faithful for forty years to the vision God gave them,” says Joe Ramos.  As the pastor there since 2013, he has seen their faithfulness up close.  “For forty years they have been meeting in different places, everywhere from the community center in Palmas to basketball courts to cafeterias, always trying to keep the vision going.  But now the time has come for these people to have a church, a place of their own.”

Joe tells us that God has miraculously provided about 2 acres of land and some money to get the project going.  “Now the time has come for the harvest,” he says.

Palmas Community Church is a bilingual church with services both for those who live and work in Palmas as well as for the community in general.  Since the beginning, we have had a close working relationship with this Bible-teaching, godly group of people.  “In fact, one of the founding members of Palmas Community was Don Luttrell, the founder of The Rock and CEM,” Joe reminds us.
