CEM Mission Statement
Calvary Evangelistic Mission (CEM) is an interdenominational, evangelical, Bible-based, nonprofit, faith Mission founded in 1953 and incorporated in Puerto Rico in 1955 for religious, educational, and social ministries. The Mission is basically Baptistic in doctrine and non-ecumenical.
The purpose is to glorify God. Undergirded with prayer, we labor to fulfill the Great Commission primarily in Puerto Rico and the West Indies based on II Timothy 2:2:“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
We utilize our radio stations, Bible Correspondence School in English and Spanish, evangelism and discipleship follow-up methods to assist other organizations to win, challenge, train, and motivate people to work for Jesus Christ so that they can disciple others for His kingdom, “That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God” (I Kings 8:60).
