Yesterday the studios of The Rock in San Juan buzzed from 6 A.M. to almost 11 P.M. as we raised a total of 6,040 Bibles in Spanish for the African country of Equatorial Guinea.  The numbers are still being formally audited and may go up from there.  In fact, you still have time to make your donation by clicking the button to the right above or sending your check to the Liga Bíblica in Bayamón!  The Bibles will be shipped out next week though, so please hurry.

The goal for this year’s Biblethon was 15,000 Bibles.  Together with the used Bibles that were already raised (close to 5,000) and some other donors who are working with the Liga Bíblica, we are confident this number will be reached and surpassed in the coming days.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all who participated.  This type of event takes many weeks to put together.  From the volunteers who hosted, answered phones, tabulated results, offered hospitality, and did so much more, to the people who called in to offer help, this event was a team effort.

Thank you for your generosity for the wonderful Christians in Equatorial Guinea.  Thanks to your giving heart, more than 5,000 new Bibles will be arriving there soon!
